About Liquid Playground: (excerpted from our Amazon.com blurb) The Colorado-based band Liquid Playground has toured nationally, performing with groups such as the Ominous Seapods, Merl Saunders and the Rainforest Band, and the David Grisman Quintet. The music of Liquid Playground can be best described as falling into the jam-band genre that includes other groups like Phish, Blues Traveller, Widespead Panic, and Leftover Salmon. Their live performances bring a theatrical element to the stage with costume changes, narration, and occasional general silliness. Think of a cross between either Frank Zappa and They Might Be Giants or Bare Naked Ladies and Rusted Root...
